Rugged R-SATA Connectors

Amphenol Aerospace Rugged R-SATA Connectors support SATA 3.0 protocol, delivering 6.25Gb/s data rates and higher. This series is suitable as the primary internal storage interconnect for desktop and mobile PCs, connecting the system to peripherals such as hard drives, solid-state drives, optical drives, and removable magnetic media drives. These connectors utilize a micro-hyperboloid contact system, which offers low insertion and extraction forces, high durability counts, and resists shock, vibration, and fretting corrosion. Amphenol Aerospace Rugged R-SATA Connectors are designed for harsh environments and rugged storage applications. They are suitable for a range of military applications, including data recorders, avionics, ruggedized mobile systems, and digital maps utilized on military platforms, including fighter aircraft, unmanned aerial vehicles, helicopters, mobile man-pack, and ground vehicles.
