KYOCERA AVX OxiCap® NOJ Capacitors are niobium oxide (NbO) capacitors built with non-burn, non-smoke technology. The capacitors offer a reliability level of 0.5%/1000 hrs, a variety of case sizes, and a CV range of 4.7-1000µF / 1.8-10V. Applications for KYOCERA AVX OxiCap NOJ Capacitors include automotive, avionics, and more.

These capacitors also offer high volumetric efficiency and a high CV range of 22µF to 1000µF/ 4V to 10V as well as 3x reflow, 260ºC compatibility. KYOCERA AVX NLJ capacitors are designed for consumer applications.

OxiCap® NbO Capacitors

KYOCERA AVX OxiCap® NbO Capacitors are solid electrolyte capacitors uniquely developed with niobium oxide-based technology. With higher ignition energy and a lower burning rate than pure metal materials, OxiCap capacitors will not burn up to the category voltage. Typically, overloads such as voltage spikes or high current surges result in increased leakage current and reduced capacitance. If subjected to these overloads, OxiCap capacitors will continue to function at full capacitance. The KYOCERA AVX OxiCap family includes three series: NOJ, in both standard and low profile; low ESR NOS; and OxiCap super-low ESR multianode NOM.
