FFC & FPC Connectors

KYOCERA AVX Flexible Flat Cables (FFC) / Flexible Printed Circuits (FPC) Connectors are available in a broad range of products that include space-saving, easy-to-use flip-top style connectors with a pitch range from 0.2mm to 1.25mm, slide ZIF, and cost-effective LIF connectors. In addition to signal integrity, these connectors can provide increased retention force for high-vibration environments, low-profile heights for small packages, ISO/TS 16949-certified connectors for automotive applications, increased workability in assembly ground planes for high-speed data transfer, and a high current threshold for battery applications. KYOCERA AVX FFC/FPC Connectors are available in multiple pitch sizes and remain competitive in the market, to offer the most solutions.

6841 Series 0.3mm Pitch FPC Connectors

KYOCERA AVX 6841 Series 0.3mm Pitch FPC Connectors are ZIF, vertical, slide-lock type FPC connectors that are best suited for the internal connection of electric equipment requiring downsizing and multiple functions. These low-profile, space-saving components feature a 3.6mm height and 2.95mm width (terminals are 2.8mm in width). Due to its vertical design, the FPC is subjected to less constraint in pulling and enables more efficient use of space on the board. KYOCERA AVX 6841 Series 0.3mm Pitch FPC Connectors are equipped with a structure to temporarily hold the FPC even when the slider is open. The slider can be locked with a simple, one-finger operation. Staggered leads on the bottom of the insulator are buried in the insulator itself to prevent the solder bridge and flux from rising in the reflow process. The series has a -40°C to +85°C operating temperature. Applications include notebook PCs, digital cameras, and digital audio players.
