C702 Smart Card Connectors

Amphenol-Tuchel C702 Smart Card Connectors provide a reliable card-locking mechanism in a compact design. The self-cleaning connectors feature a normally open or normally closed switch, special-shaped contacts to minimize card scratching, and board locks for mechanical fixation. Amphenol-Tuchel C702 Smart Card Connectors  feature dimensions of 62mm x 40mm x 7.2mm, and the series is available with dip solder pins/PCB mounting.

Smart Card Connectors

Amphenol FCI Smart Card Connectors are 8- and 16-pin connectors primarily used as full-size smart card readers. These are deployed in health, social security, ID, and credit card "chip-and-pin" schemes. The connectors cater to indoor, outdoor, and harsh environment applications. Options for landing or sliding contacts, blade or sealed switches, and THT, SMT, or flex terminations add to design flexibility. Amphenol FCI Smart Card Connectors also account for durability with a large number of mating cycles.
