R41 & R46 Series Film Capacitors

KEMET R41 and R46 Series Film Capacitors are metallized polypropylene Film Capacitors that have self-healing properties. The R41 and R46 Series Film Capacitors from KEMET are used as interference suppressors for across-the-line applications and are suitable for use where failure of the capacitor could lead to danger of electric shock. The R41 series replaces the R73 series.

X Capacitors are for use in positions where a failure of the capacitor would not expose anybody to the danger of electric shock. Y Capacitors are for use in positions where a failure of the capacitor could expose somebody to a dangerous electric shock.

EMI/RFI Suppression Capacitors

KEMET EMI/RFI Suppression Capacitors offer a maximum voltage rating of 760VAC and are ideal for capacitive power supplies. The KEMET portfolio of EMI/RFI suppression capacitors includes the following series: F861, F862, F871, F872, F873, F881, P278, P295, PHE844, PHE845, PHZ9004, PME264, PME271E, PME271M, PME271Y, PME295, PZB300, R41, R41-T, R46, R47, R49, and SMP253.
