Magnetic Power/Data Applications

Rosenberger Magnetic Power / Data Applications feature connectors that offer an intelligent alternative to mechanical mating. The magnetic self-mating connectors provide common functions and are suitable for power and data transmission. These connectors from Rosenberger encompass characteristics that are useful and often required in today’s industries. These features include self-mating, reliability, and break-away functions. These connectors are ideal for applications such as medicine and healthcare, industrial automation, smart devices, and light electric vehicles (LEVs).

MagCode® PowerSystem & MagCode® PowerSystemPro

Rosenberger MagCode® PowerSystem and MagCode® PowerSystemPro ensure safe and reliable magnetic connection to 12V and 24V external power sources. This includes "cigarette lighter" receptacles commonly found on many vehicles such as cars, trucks, vans, campers, motorcycles, and boats. For the MagCode PowerSystem, the magnets in the PowerPort and PowerClip ensure contact is made between the two parts of the connector as well as providing a switching function. The flat contacts only carry power when the moveable plate in the Port is magnetized by the magnets in the Clip. Totally short-circuit-proof, the MagCode PowerSystem is designed to avoid other metal objects or permanent magnets inadvertently energizing the contacts. The Rosenberger MagCode PowerSystemPro features an additional twist lock mechanism for applications where greater separation forces and higher current load are necessary. In addition, the twist lock function guarantees switching will not occur before the outside contact has been closed, eliminating potential arcing problems.

MagCode PowerSystems 12/24 V

Rosenberger MagCode PowerSystems 12/24 V are magnetic connector systems for 12V and 24V and feature a mechanical twist lock. These hi-tech connector systems have a stable connection and feature minimal mounting depth with up to 25A current load. The MagCode PowerSystem parts are waterproof and short-circuit-proof with no arcing problems.
