Microchip Technology LAN935x 10/100 Managed Ethernet Switches are full featured, 2- or 3-port switches designed for embedded applications. The LAN935x provide performance, flexibility, ease of integration and system cost control.  These switches combine a 10/100 switch system, including the Switch Fabric, packet buffers, buffer manager, Media Access Controllers (MACs), PHY transceivers and serial management. The LAN935x support IEEE 1588v2 with integrated IEEE 1588v2 hardware time stamp unit. This unit supports end-to-end and peer-to-peer transparent clocks.
