Mouser-Sponsored Vasser Sullivan Lexus Team Keeps Momentum Heading into Road America Race
August 3, 2022 – Mouser Electronics, Inc., the New Product Introduction (NPI) leader™ empowering innovation, is proud to sponsor the Vasser Sullivan Lexus Racing team as they head to Plymouth, Wisconsin, for the IMSA Fastlane SportsCar Weekend at the famed Road America course on August 7.
The team is coming off a great showing at the Northeast Grand Prix where drivers Jack Hawksworth and Ben Barnicoat piloted the No. 14 Vasser Sullivan Lexus RC F GT3 PRO to a third-place finish — the team’s sixth podium spot of the season. Additionally, Frankie Montecalvo nabbed his second-consecutive pole position in the No. 12 Vasser Sullivan Lexus RC F GT3 car and went on to lead the GTD class for 114 total laps.
Mouser is teaming up with Molex LLC to sponsor the No. 12 and No. 17 Vasser Sullivan Lexus RC F GT3 GTD Class and the No. 14 Vasser Sullivan Lexus RC F GT3 GTD PRO Class entries for the 2022 IMSA WeatherTech SportsCar Championship season. Team drivers for the season include Hawksworth, Barnicoat and Kyle Kirkwood in the No. 14 and No. 17 cars and Montecalvo, Townsend Bell, Richard Heistand, and Aaron Telitz in the No. 12 car.
